Model AR-3A
AC Powered Repeater

The Model AR-3A Repeater is an addressable bi-directional repeater used to form a cellular reception network which receives, screens, verifies, and retransmits low power radio signals from other CWSI wireless initiating devices, repeaters and control panels. In addition to providing RF signaling within the installation, the AR-3A provides supervised addressable NACs (Notification Appliance Circuits). It incorporates dual receiver technology and utilizes FHSS (Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum) signaling technology to assure a secure and reliable fire alarm network.

With bi-directional communications, the repeater can retransmit RF command signals from the control panel to activate its NACs and relays. The AR-3A NACs and optional relays are field programmable at the CP-3000A/CP-3000DA Control Panel making site specific changes both easy and cost effective. The Model AR-3A NACs are field selectable both for 12 or 24 volt DC and Class A or B operation. Models RB-10, RB-20, RB-30, RB-40 Relay Boxes are available containing 10 to 40 dry contact programmable relays. These Relay Boxes can be connected to the AR-3A providing up to 40 programmable N.O. dry contact outputs.

The Model AR-3A offers supervised output features such as interfacing capabilities to auxiliary equipment, activation and powering of notification appliance circuits, control functions such as elevator recall, HVAC control, door closures, and interfacing to voice systems to name a few.
